ASABE VILITA ADVOCATING FOR ENHANCED TEACHER RECRUITMENT IN BORNO STATE.

Maiduguri — The Borno State government has recruited 1,000 teachers in various disciplines to boost manpower in the state secondary schools, the Commissioner for Education Dr. Asabe Vilita Bashir has said.

Dr. Bashir who disclosed this yesterday in Maiduguri said government embarked on the recruitment exercise because the state was in need of qualified teachers. "Government is not unmindful of the importance of training and re-training of our teachers to deliver hence, the ministry has completed arrangements through its various agencies to organize workshops for teachers at all levels", she said.
